WHAT KIND OF MATERIAL ARE AU MEXIQUE LEATHER GOODS MADE OF?

The majority of our bags are made out of the finest cowhide leather that comes from León Mexico, and we also have one clutch with python leather.

WHERE ARE THE BAGS MADE?

Au Mexique leather goods are handcrafted by a team of 30 artisans in a workshop located in León, Mexico, which is the mecca of leather in Mexico.

HOW CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?

As soon as your order ships, you will receive an email confirmation to the email address you entered on your order. You will also be emailed once your package is shipped.

WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP?

Most orders ship within 1-2 business days of purchase, but if we can do it before that amount of time, we will!  We ship all of our products via USPS, DHL, or FedEx (we usually go with the courier with the best delivery times/rates).

WHERE DOES MY ORDER SHIP FROM?

Our bags currently ship from Monterrey, Mexico, so most packages sent within Mexico and the U.S. will arrive within 2-5 business days, depending on location. International orders outside of the U.S. and Mexico can take up to 10-15 business days to arrive.

FYI: Since most of our customers are in the U.S., we are in the process of improving our shipping options/costs by finding a warehouse in the U.S. to lower shipping costs for you guys!

HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST?

This really depends on where you package is going, dimensions, weight, etc., but based on our experience, international shipping from Mexico can run anywhere from $30-$50 USD. Again, we are in the process of improving our shipping situation so we can lower those costs!

WILL I HAVE TO PAY INTERNATIONAL TAXES & DUTIES? 

Honestly, it depends on your country´s Customs Duties and Taxes. Your local government may impose import duties and/or VAT (Value Added Taxes) on shipments from outside your country. You are responsible for paying any taxes, duties and/or customs fees charged by your government. A general rule of thumb is that import duties and taxes are around 20% of the dollar amount of the merchandise. Speaking from our personal experience, so far, none of our clients in the U.S. have had to pay import duties or taxes (if that helps!).

I NEED TO CHANGE SOMETHING ON MY ORDER. HOW CAN I DO THAT?

If you need to change or cancel your order, please contact us immediately. We generally process orders within 12-24 hours, and once we have processed your order, we will be unable to make any changes. 

I JUST PLACED MY ORDER.  CAN I ADD ANOTHER ITEM TO IT?

Unfortunately we cannot add items to an existing order. Go ahead and place a new order for the item, then contact us. We’ll be happy to waive shipping on this additional order if it was placed within 24 hours of the original order. 

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

Our return policy lasts 30 days.

Merchandise is accepted for full REFUND or store credit if returned in original condition within 14 days of the date that your order was delivered, accompanied by the return form and the original receipt. In the case that the merchandise is returned after the 14-day period (but before the 30 days) since delivery date, you will receive an Au Mexique STORE CREDIT.

If 30 days have passed since your item was delivered, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or store credit.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PROCESS A RETURN?

Please allow 7-11 business days for processing returns. If you qualify for a refund, a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within a certain amount of days. For store credit, you will receive a promo code via email.

I RECEIVED AN AU MEXIQUE GIFT CARD/PROMO CODE. HOW DO I USE IT?

1. Under the Payment section during checkout, click the “Add a PROMO Code” button.

2. Enter the PROMO code that was sent to you via email.

3. Click “Apply PROMO code”.

4. The amount will be deducted from your order total.

We are open for business Monday-Friday from 9:00am - 5:00pm Central Standard Time. However, since we want to provide you with amazing customer service, we will get back to you as soon as possible. Just keep in mind that we (or should I say “I”) are a one-woman show right nowJ

Emails sent over the weekend will be answered on the following business day, if not before then!  

DO YOU HAVE ANY STORE LOCATIONS?

No, we currently operate online only! Maybe one day we will open our own store.
